Cohiba Limited Edition Shorts Humidor Year of the Dragon 2023

To celebrate the Chinese New Year and the Year of the Dragon 2024, Cohiba presents this exclusive limited edition: the Cohiba Limited Edition Shorts Humidor. This special release features a cedarwood humidor containing 88 Short cigars, each meticulously crafted at Cuba’s famed El Laguito factory. The cigars are made entirely from Cuban tobacco, with every component - wrapper, binder, and filler—sourced from the island’s finest plantations and subjected to Cohiba’s signature extra fermentation process for unmatched smoothness and complexity.

The Cohiba Short is a unique vitola that combines the length of a Cuban Mini with the width of a Puritos, measuring 83 mm in length and a 27 ring gauge. Each cigar is machine-made in Cuba using tobaccos reserved for Habanos, and individually wrapped in cellophane to preserve freshness and quality. The humidor is crafted from cedar wood with an elegant lacquered finish, featuring the Cohiba logo and an iconic dragon symbol. Only 21,888 numbered units were released worldwide. 

Cohiba stands as Cuba’s most prestigious cigar brand, renowned worldwide for its exclusivity, craftsmanship, and storied history. Established in 1966 at the request of Fidel Castro, Cohiba began as a private blend crafted exclusively for Castro and high-ranking government officials. For years, these cigars were gifted to dignitaries and unavailable to the public, fueling their mystique and desirability. The name “Cohiba” is derived from the Taino word for tobacco, reflecting the brand’s deep roots in Cuban heritage. In 1982, Cohiba cigars were finally released to the public, quickly becoming the flagship of Habanos S.A. and a symbol of luxury and excellence in the cigar world
